Burnett Street looking towards the Bush Inn with Thomas Andrews' garage on the left, circa 1920 - note the TEXACO sign at the top of the gable. Thomas Andrews moved location to 07 Burnett Street some time in 1923. The garage was demolished to build two new shops some time before 1946.
This is the only photo we have of the two shops that occupied the site prior to 1968, a distant view of the rear taken approximately 1954. The two story building to the left is the dentist at 23 Burnett Street and the building next to that is 21 Burnett Street

Two years later, the shops are gone and the service station is up and running.
