Alta Vista Cottage is located in Austins Ferry. Just down the street from Cadburys and 5 minutes from Moorilla Estate. Conviently 15 minutes from hobart to the south and 15 minutes from New Norfolk to the north. A perfect spot to base yourselves to have a short distance to travel to many attractions.
This two bedroom cottage was originally built in 1955 and has been lovingly restored in the style of that era. The rooms are light and airy and the furnishings are cozy and comfortable. The cottage will comfortably sleep 6 people
There is a fully equipped kitchen with stove, fridge, toaster, electric kettle and microwave oven plus our favourite toy - the espresso/cappuccino machine. The pantry is stocked with oils, vinegars and spices and all the cooking equipment you're ever likely to need.

You can relax in front of your favorite movie in the lounge room - or let the kids watch a DVD while you escape to the living room to listen to your favourite CD and/or read a book.

There are two comfortably appointed bedrooms with queen beds plus 2 single sofa beds in the family room.
Naturally all the beds are fitted with electric blankets.

If you'd rather be outdoors, there's a deck with fabulous views just off the living room complete with gas BBQ and outdoor dining suite. The large established gardens are fully fenced and there is a vegetable garden and fruit trees - we encourage our guests to eat and enjoy - bon appetit!
